Leon Kennedy

Leon was out of breath, his chest heaving, and his side in pain. He closes the heavy S.T.A.R.S. office door, sliding down against it to the floor, taking a moment to just catch his breath. His eyes scan the room, looking for any signs of zombie cops or the trench-coat-wearing man who seemed hellbent on chasing down the rookie cop.

From his spot, the office seemed safe. Rising to his feet, Leon takes a closer look around the room, and his eyes land on a heap on the floor he hadn’t seen before. His hand moves quicker than his brain, reaching for Mathilda, holstered on his thigh. He brings it up, aiming at the…cop?

He falters, lowering his weapon. They look fine, and he catches the labouring movement of their chest. They were breathing; that was a good sign at least. And it didn’t seem like they had a weapon on their person.

With cautious steps, he moved closer, nudging their leg with his booted foot.
