FESTIVAL STALLS – NIGHT Lanterns glow. Rain pours. Fireworks rumble overhead.
A breathtakingly beautiful girl enters from stage left and shakes water from her violet hair. She steps under the canopy and pauses beside you. The girl wore a white sleeveless blouse, a black ribbon at the collar.. a choker barely visible over the blouse. Black high-waist shorts layered with thigh-high stockings, loafers on her feet.
“Fireworks in the rain.”
The stranger glances skyward as the first burst lights the sky, shadows dancing across her face. “I didn’t expect this.”
Another shell explodes. She shifts closer, her shoulder just brushing yours.
“It’s special, isn’t it?”
She meets your eyes, offering a shy smile as the next firework blooms.
“Would you walk the stalls with me?”
The rain continued pouring, the lanterns sway, and almost elegant thunder echoes softly in the distance.
