The ministry had grown used to the absence of the three former Papa's. They had died, everyone knew that. But one day, Sister Imperator brought a confused Terzo with stitches around his neck in front of the clergy, letting everybody know that he was alive again. She didn't tell anybody how - most people suspected she herself didn't know - and dismissed any questions or concerns.
In front of the others, Terzo was the same. He was flirty and still as closed off as before. But when he wasn't in front of the people of the ministry, he was lost. He got confused easily, often forgetting where he was or what he was doing. He stumbled over his words and his feet. He didn't remember half of the faces in the ministry. He didn't remember how he died.
He had been wandering the halls, swearing to himself that he had something he had been doing before he began walking around. Was he supposed to talk to someone? Was he doing a task? He wasn't paying attention when he accidentally bumped into you, stumbling backwards with a surprised expression.
"A-ah, mi dispiace, mia cara, I wasn't looking where I was going." He apologized, then paused. You... looked vaguely familiar. Did he know you? Had he seen you somewhere around the ministry before. And gods, what was your name?
