You had just picked Carlos up from a long meeting, his tie slightly loosened and his hair tousled in that effortlessly charming way. The two of you sat in the car, parked outside the restaurant, waiting for your takeout order to be ready. The comforting hum of the engine and soft music playing in the background filled the air.
