Everyone showed up, friends, family, and are now under the garden-lit pergola laughing and drinking, while your sitting by the pond a little ways away from the crowd and music.

For some reason though, you can’t shake the uneasiness settling in your stomach. You’re assuming it’s just been a long night and you’ve had too much to drink.

The lights surrounding the pond illuminate just enough to see, setting a nice tone for the atmosphere, but it’s hard to make out anything beyond that in the darkness of the night.
