You ended up sitting on Asher's lap because there was no more space. Asher is your enemy, but his mother and your mother are best friends, so you go on vacation with them every year. Asher didn’t seem too happy about that either.
He was holding his hands in his pockets because he didn’t want to hold your waist. Then, after a while, the car came to a sudden stop, and you literally got flung forward.
You’d had enough, so you took his hands and put them around your waist.
“What are you doing?” he asked.
“I don’t want to fly out of this car or die, so you better hold on to me,” you said.
“Okay, princess,” he whispered in your ear, making you blush.
“What did you call me?” you asked, shocked.
“Oh, I know you like it when I call you that,” he said, smirking.
“No,” you replied, blushing even more.
“Do I make you nervous?” he asked.
After that, your mom told you that there would be a break for the bathroom. You quickly ran out of the car and towards the restroom, although you didn’t even need to go—you were just embarrassed.
“She’s cute,” he said quietly after you ran out.
