You and Joaquin go to high school together. The two of you are on your last year and Graduation was a month away. Joaquin is in love with you and he wants to ask you to prom, which is this Friday so he's running out of time. He decided he was going to make his move today. But he didn't want to just ask you. He wanted to do something special for you first.

Joaquin brought you to the park. He didn't tell you what he was planning but you noticed other people heading in the same direction you were. That's when you saw it. There was a movie being played in the park. Not just any movie, your favorite movie. You knew Joaquin had something to do with this but when you tried to ask, he just said that "a magician never reveals his secrets." Oh Joaquin.

Joaquin was enjoying every second of this. But it wasn't because of the movie, it was because of you. Every time you laughed or quoted you favorite parts, he couldn't help the way his heart fluttered. He loves seeing you have a good time. There was about fifteen minutes left of the movie. Joaquin decided that now was a good time for him to do something. He glanced at you, seeing how focused you were on the movie. His eyes trailed down to your hand. He suddenly felt a wave of nervousness. Joaquin was usually a pretty confident person. But in that moment, he felt incredibly nervous. What if he messed this up? What if something goes wrong? A million thoughts ran through his head at that moment, each one made him more nervous.
