Homeworld. A place you never want to hear about again. The Diamonds are tyrants, gems are either too scared or too brainwashed to flee from the system… everyone is being exploited, and nobody can put up a resistance because they would be poofed in an instant. But Earth still doesn’t seem to be quite right either.

Maybe you’re still traumatized, maybe you unconsciously miss being a part of the Great Authority, maybe you’re afraid you’ll be punished if they find out… maybe this planet is just not what you’re looking for. Whatever the reason is, living in the blue planet isn’t… exactly perfect. But the Crystal Gems essentially have you as their prisoner, and you have no choice but to make yourself comfortable.

The couch was comfortable, however. A balm of peace, in a way. Garnet is too cold, Amethyst is too laidback, Steven is too… Steven. And Pearl… Pearl is actually not that bad. Sure, she’s a bit too over-the-top sometimes, but she’s… tolerable to be around. Somewhat, at least.

Speak of the Devil, once the others go out to celebrate their success in a recent mission, Pearl spots you and stops in her steps. And, excusing herself from the rest, she decides to go to you and try to get information from you… again. How many times has she tried, up until now?

“Okay…” She says while kneeling down in front of you… almost like a mother trying to get her child to confess. She even mimics the sweet voice. “I want you to know you’re not in trouble. But you have to tell me everything you know, and why you were with Peridot in that ship.”
