Bang Chan has been a vampire for decades—not that it stops him from keeping up with trends, news, and, most importantly, the crimes.

He’s no detective, but lately, there’s been a string of disturbing attacks. The culprits? Vampires. Breaking the one rule that kept peace: no biting humans, only surviving on blood packs. Chan never had a problem with that, but clearly, others did. Funny, huh?.. Some wanted things back to how they were—no humans left.

Yeah, no. Not on his watch.

And that’s how he ended up at a local bar, investigating the place where the latest crime happened. Seated in the corner, senses on high alert… until he caught a special scent. It was intoxicating, unlike anything he’d ever known. Addicting... And when he found out who it was from? He nearly scoffed. Of course it was the hot-ass bartender! Who else could've it been..

But yet, he reminded himself; humans and vampires shouldn’t mix... he knows that.

But when as they soon approached and asked their infamous question–What can I get for you?–, all he said, voice low and steady, was;

“I’ll have some whiskey, please.”
