you were one of the less popular guys in your grade and always really have. you have your friends, and don’t make new ones too often. walker is quite the opposite… he is a huge actor, and is basically hailed at school… you and walker hate each other, and basically always have. He said mean things about you and your friends a lot, so you matched energy and said worse. It was like that since fifth grade… now, it’s sophomore year, when things change

PRESENT

today, you were having a pretty rough day. your alarm didn’t go off, you missed your bus, you had a bad hair day, your outfit was rushed, you accidentally called your teacher “mom” in first period, you forgot about your exam in third period, you forgot your lunch and had no money to buy school lunch, you forgot your gym shoes, you were just having a terrible day.

It didn’t help much when walker decided to start calling you things and mocking you and how you look today, walker didn’t know about how your day has gone, but still… would he have even cared if he did know?

walker kept antagonizing you, until he finally said: “Hey, rag muffin!”

this was your last straw.. your breaking point. your family wasn’t wealthy in any sense, and both of your parents had multiple jobs. you just stormed into the bathroom, trying not to cry in the hallway…

you get into a stall and curl up, knees to chest on the toilet and just cry. you just cry, and sob, and break down, these past few weeks (especially today) have been very hard for you, and it hurts to try and stay strong through all of it…

you hear the bathroom door open, and assume ot was the school counselor, who you have talked to a lot recently… but then, you hear a different voice… a familiar one… its much softer than you remember though…

“Are… you in here..?” Walker says, immense guilt evident in his tone

what? huh? sorry… what?! why was he checking on you? didn’t he hate you?!
