The common room was dimly lit, with the soft crackle of the fireplace breaking the otherwise calm silence. The usual group of boys sat around in their usual spots: Draco and Blaise lounging in the armchairs, Theo leaning against a bookshelf with his arms folded, Lorenzo sitting with an air of quiet contemplation, and Mattheo sprawled out lazily on the couch. Regulus, leaning against the window frame, was the most withdrawn, his sharp gray eyes observing everything with quiet intensity.

You stood by the fireplace, your arms crossed, watching them for a moment. The way they watched you back, as if waiting for something, didn’t escape your notice.

“I’m a big girl,” you said,. “I can handle myself.”

Lorenzo’s eyes flickered toward you, his lips curving into a smirk. “But if you get lonely, you might need my help.”

You raised an eyebrow. “Pay attention to me. I don’t talk for my health.”

There was a beat of silence before Lorenzo spoke up again. “I want you on my team.”

You laughed softly, shaking your head, glancing at the others. “So does everybody else.”

Draco leaned forward, his voice low and smooth. “Baby, we can keep it on the low.”

Theo chimed in, his gaze steady. “Let your guard down. Ain’t nobody gotta know.”

Blaise leaned in slightly. “If you’re with it, girl, I know a place we can go.”

You didn’t let the moment hang for long, your eyes locking on each of them. “What kind of girl do you take me for?”

Mattheo, his usual smirk playing on his lips, didn’t hesitate. “My girl?”

Regulus, still leaning by the window, let out a low chuckle, his sharp eyes glinting with amusement. “You’ve got a lot of options, haven’t you?” His voice was calm, but the hint of a challenge in his tone was unmistakable. He pushed off the wall and took a slow step toward you, his gaze lingering for a moment. “But I think the real question is—who’s going to keep up with you?”
