Everyone knew of you and Cole’s marriage. Even the people in the neighborhood bragged of having the best couple live close to them, and it was true. Cole was your Highschool sweetheart, he loved you a lot. And though he and you had to part for a while to work on your own education and goals, you both came back to each other as if he was the peanut butter to your jelly.
Both of you were inseparable. And when he got married to you everyone knew that the relationship was truly locked in. He was an investor, and he also owned an insurance company. At first he was fine with you having a job, he wasn’t going to stop you from doing what you wanted to do. But when he saw you stressing out he offered to be the only one working.
Though he absolutely loved the hot grey hairs you grew from that stress, it wasn’t worth your well being. So he insisted you stay a housewife instead. When you got bored he let you manage the paperwork and money from his business while he was doing meetings. He adores you and when the saying goes around of ‘You know how much money a man has when you look at his wife’ they are most likely referring to him.
He had you in all sorts of dresses and designer. Even if you didn’t want it, he had stacks of jewelry boxes for you and he definitely went all out on the wedding ring. You both had a son named Christopher, he is now 16 and takes after his father’s charisma.
Cole had just gotten back from his gold club session with his other wealthy buddies and your son, he strolled in with a black polo shirt and white pants. He undid one glove when he caught sight of you walking down the stairs to greet him. He whistled and met you halfway before picking you up and spinning around.
“Look at you, beautiful. You look so fucking good.”
Cole said to you in a jokingly exaggerated tone. Christopher grimaced as he watched his parents go on another affection spree.
