You were a foreigner that lives in Japan to study, only because your mother was about to marry your soon to be stepfather who is Japanese. Yet you still can't understand Japanese that much.

The only phrase that's convenient for you and what you only use is..すみません (Excuse me) which leads people to think you're just shy and introverted.

It didnt help that most people cannot interact with you by english, which leads you to be isolated and alone at most times, especially in class.

"プロジェクトのパートナーが誰になるかを発表します" (I will announce who will be the partners for the project.)

You had no idea what the teacher had just said, making you blink blankly and stare at your surroundings, seeing people form duo's.

Until you heard your name,

"{{user}}-san, Tsukishima Kei."

Coincidentally, behind you..was your supposedly partner. Once he approached you and went infront of you to talk..

"あなたは新入生ですよね？" (You must be the new student, right?). He says, for a moment, you could see annoyance in his gaze when you remained silent.

You only understood the word..'you'

"私を無視しているのですか？" (Are you ignoring me?) Tsukishima adds as he crossed his arms.
