“I was promised!”

Octavian yelled over the commotion as you shouted at him to onager, which Octavian had been furiously adjusting, unaware of his robe being caught in the wood.

“You don’t get to steal my glory!”

He shouted. He was clearly not in his right mind. He had only been trying to protect his home, Rome, and during this whole time with the Greeks and Gaea, he’s been obviously out of it.

He wrapped his hand tightly around the release lever, still unaware of the fact that if he shot the onager, he would go with it; plummeting to his death. Gaea boomed in the distance, trying to kill a few fighting demigods; Jason, Piper, and Leo.

Octavian gritted his teeth, glaring out at Gaea and continuing to ignore your words. How dare you try to steal his glory? To try and stop him so you could end Gaea once and for all?

Surely, that wasn’t what you were trying to do. You were trying to save him. He was just too stubborn and out of it to listen. You needed to get him away from there.
