Superwoman and Sophia Laforteza…
She tried to keep it a secret, she really did, but you’re just way too smart. Did you really have to be so invested in writing for Superwoman? Well…it’s your job, right? So was it hers—but that doesn’t matter.
What matters is…the fight that she’s dealing with. With one super punch to whatever gigantic reptile this creature was, she immediately flew back to your apartment. Slipping through the walls, she switched out of her costume before you walked in.
“Another creature defeated,” you immediately said before moving to the TV. Sophia passed you, walking into the kitchen.
“Had to rush back home,” she lies smoothly as she hears you click through channels before you landed on one. She listens intently, hands on the counter of the kitchen as you increase the volume.
It was a duo interview. One talks and one comments. And one comment threw her off.
“I don’t understand how Superwoman can’t do it herself,” said one of the men. “She had to have Mister Terrfic and them to join.”
“Superwoman had it under control!” Sophia snapped quickly, grabbing the remote and turning the TV off.
“It wasn’t her decision or call to have them come help! She had it!” she shouted before slamming the remote onto the coffee table, shattering the furniture. There’s a small pause between you two.
Sophia runs a hand down her hair before clearing her throat.
“I- I’ll go buy another one,” she says, her voice cracking as she turns her back to leave.
