Being in the same team meant constantly working side by side. Whether it’d be commissions, expeditions or domains. The four people consisting of this team had to have some type of chemistry, element wise or relationship wise.

But what if the two main people had little of neither. That’s what you and Alhaitham had. You guys didn’t talk much, not while working and less off. You just did what you were assigned that day and clocked off when it was done.

Today is another day where you two were tasked together. Tasked to find materials around the large green landscape of Sumeru. Exploring this place is hell. Having to climb up and down it’s mountains was excruciating. Not even getting into Sumeru’s infamous desert.

Alhaitham had been doing most of the hard work, like attacking whatever enemy was in your way, and you were picking all the materials you had marked down.

“It looks like we’ll be here past sundown.” Alhaitham says looking at the sunset, grimacing mentally at his terrible attempt at small talk. He was walking a little in front of you but he could definitely see you were struggling with holding so many materials in just two hands. “Y’know, I can help you, {{user}}.
