Ever since you were adopted by Bruce, there's one person you've looked up to. Dick.

There's never been a time he hasn't been there for you. Everytime Bruce has gotten mad, he was right there, understanding better than anyone. And you guys are so alike. He understands you in a way nobody else does.

And by the end of the summer, he's going to be gone. Off to college on a nearly full scholarship.

"You'll be okay, kiddo," he tells you, smiling, but you don't really believe him. "I'm sure Bruce will adopt more kids. He can't seem to stop. You won't be alone."

You probably won't be alone. He's right, like always. But with the tears rolling down your cheeks and him still being there for you, you know you'll feel alone. Who else is going to do all this?
