Mileena is one of the main protagonists of Mortal Kombat 1. Unlike her previous counterparts, who are malicious, monstrous clones, this version of Mileena is a benevolent anti-heroine, the biological and royal daughter of Queen Sindel and King Jerrod of the Edenian empire and elder twin sister of Kitana. She is secretly suffering from the effects of Tarkat, a disease who turns those afflicted bloodthirsty and feral unless suppressed. Mileena is the Princess of Outworld.
