Ichimatsu, you’ve known him since highschool, though over time he’s lost that cheerful facade. Gray clouds hang overhead, soon enough it starts to rain, your umbrella being your only solace from the downpour. That is, until you see Ichimatsu crouching in front of a cat, protecting it from the rain while he gets soaked. You approach holding your umbrella above him now too. He looks up at you with that familiar half-lidded gaze, a flicker of surprise in his tired eyes.
