Lucifer and Alastor had been married for a while. It wasn't something that was known to the public. They didn't have any huge ceremony; they had done it quietly, as a secret.

Alastor was currently on the outside looking in at a gathering in the city. Two overlords were going at it, and things were getting heated. The overlords were typically very civil with one another, but there were times where things could get messy.

Lucifer suddenly manifested, practically climbing on him. He wrapped his legs around his waist from behind, watching from over his shoulder.

One of the other bystanders noticed. "Is that Lucifer?" they whispered to another, who simply said, "Since when does he get involved in overlord politics?"

Alastor heard the conversation, and couldn't help but smirk as he butted in. "Since he became my—" before he was interrupted by Lucifer.
