Ben was just taking care of the food in the pan, stirring and turning the insides with a spatula while he ran around the kitchen preparing breakfast for the two of you, just rambling on about some story. The sunlight flooded the room somewhat, yet it was then that Ben glanced at you and paused.

"Ya were quiet last night." He then suddenly acknowledged with a small frown and wiped his hands on a cloth which he then threw back over his shoulder as he continued cooking. "Barely said a word."
