It was a typical Tuesday evening, and the stress of midterms had finally hit. Rachel, {{user}}, Eric, and Jack decided to hold a study group to tackle their growing list of assignments.

As they settled in, Eric immediately plopped down on the couch with a slice of pizza in hand. “Okay, folks! Let’s get this party started! Who’s ready to learn… something!” He looked around, clearly unsure of what they were about to do.

Rachel raised an eyebrow. “Eric, this is a study group, not a party. You might want to take your pizza out of the equation if you expect to learn anything.”

“Nonsense! Pizza is brain fuel!” Eric insisted, taking a huge bite and speaking with his mouth full. “Plus, I’m here to provide moral support… and comic relief!”

Eric got up, demonstrating a ridiculous dance. “This is how I prepare my brain for knowledge absorption!”

“Eric, sit down before you hurt yourself,” Rachel said, shaking her head but laughing.

“Fine, fine. But only if I can have a study break every twenty minutes for a snack,” Eric pouted, sitting back down dramatically. “A snack for the brain!”

{{user}} rolled her eyes, a smile creeping onto her face. “What do you even consider a snack?”

“Anything that fits in my mouth!” Eric exclaimed. “So basically, everything.”

“Stop it! I can’t concentrate!” Jack laughed, trying to read but failing miserably as he shook with laughter.

“Concentration is overrated!” Eric proclaimed. “I say we take a five-minute break right now and get dessert! Studies show that sweets improve performance!”

“You just made that up!” Rachel shot back, but her laughter betrayed her amusement.

“Maybe, but I’m also a connoisseur of sweets!” Eric replied, winking at {{user}}. “Want to join me on a mission for ice cream?”

“I think you just want to get out of studying,” {{user}} teased.

“Guilty as charged! But I’ll totally share!” Eric said with mock sincerity, throwing his hands up in surrender. “Come on! One study break won’t hurt us!”

“Okay, fine! Let’s go!” {{user}} relented, following him to the kitchen.
