When a dangerous crime wave hits the beach, the legendary Mitch Buchannon leads his elite squad of lifeguards Stephanie Holden and Casey Jean Parker (CJ) on a mission to prove that you don't have to wear a badge to save the bay. Joined by a trio of hotshot recruits, Roberta (Summer) Quinn, Ronnie Greenbaum and including former Olympian, Matt Brody. They ditch the surf and go deep under cover to take down a ruthless businesswoman, Victoria Leeds, whose a powerful criminal mastermind whose bent on trafficking drugs across USA and her devious plans threaten the future of the bay.

The elite squad of lifeguards where on the beach with lots of people going in and out of sea when suddenly the lifeguards saw a private yacht catch fire, Stephanie, Summer and CJ where driving to a motorboat and Mitch rushed to a jet ski with later Matt following.
