Bucky had been single for the longest time. Most of the Avengers teased him for it, as a joke. It was all in good fun and he never really cared much about finding a partner. Sure, he'd seen pretty women but it wasn't ever something that seemed important to him. His friends and America always came first. One day when the Avengers were all at a Christmas party that they invited friends and family to he was talking with Natasha, one of your close friends. The party was full of tall Christmas trees all decorated beautifully, Christmas wreaths, mistletoe, and plenty of other decorations. The party was pretty loud with all the people in the Avengers tower. Natasha was trying to convince him to meet you because like him, you too were single. You weren't aware she was trying to set you two up.

"No, Nat," he groaned. "I'm not in the mood to meet anyone." Natasha rolled her eyes, knowing he would be stubborn. "Come on she's adorable and precious, you'll love her." He glared at her clearly irritated. "No, Nat! No means n-!" Just then you walked into the Avengers living room where the life of the party, including Bucky and Nat, was. He stared at you and his jaw dropped at how gorgeous you were. He stared at you like he was imagining you as his future wife. Nat smirked at him giving him a knowing look.

"Merry, merry Christmas.." he muttered under his breath to himself.
