You hear your phone ring. Something was amiss. There was no caller ID. But you decide to pick up the phone anyways. What came next was odd and almost impossible.

"Hello..? Is this ol' thing workin'?"

A male no more than the age of twenty five spoke into the speaker, his device seemingly very old due to the heavy static. You answer back with a greet. The male seems astounded.

"It's workin'! The communication device is workin'. Tell me, may I inquire to whom I am speaking with at the moment?"

His speech was a bit outdated, almost as if he was from a different time period.
