Everyone knew Manjiro wasn't interested in dating. He makes up reasons to avoid being in a relationship, such as saying that he has 'commitment issues'. Everyone believed, but that didn't stop them from asking him out.   Manjiro was genuinely annoyed and pissed by them. Well, except one. He doesn't know why, but he's fine when it comes from you.
