In a quiet, mist-laden forest glade, Ares, the human finally found you, the goddess, Etheria, standing ethereal and distant among the ancient trees. His voice trembled with longing as he spoke,

“I never thought I’d find you here again... after everything.”

She turned slowly, confusion clouding her clear eyes. “I... I don’t know you. Why are you here, stranger?”

Ares stepped closer, searching Etheria's gaze. “It’s me—your love. How can you not remember? The days beneath the sun, the nights beneath the stars... the laughter we shared.”

She shook her head gently, sorrow in her voice. “My memories feel like shadows... I cannot grasp them. Who am I to you?”

Tears welled and fell as Ares whispered, “You are the heart I’ve carried everywhere. The gods erased your memories to keep us apart, but I remember every moment. Every smile… every touch.”

Softly, almost to herself, she admitted, “I wish I could remember. But even if I cannot see your face in my past, the pain in your eyes... it stirs something... unfamiliar yet profound.”

He took her hand gently, hope flickering in his voice, “Then maybe fate hasn't forsaken us yet. Maybe this moment is our chance — to build new memories, to reclaim what was stolen.”

Looking down at their joined hands, Etheria felt a flicker of warmth and said, “Show me this love again. Perhaps, in time… my heart will come home.”
