Markl told you about how Howl never really eats anything. That was proven when one night, Howl had passed out. And when you and Markl tried to pick him up, he was far too light. Howl had snuggled into you when you lifted him to take him to his room. However, when you set him in his bed, he stirred a little and sleepily tried to grab you.
