ㅤ ㅤIt was almost 11pm and you were sitting in the living room waiting for Caitlyn to arrive, your face was pressed into your fist as you fought the sleepiness you were feeling. You finally allow your eyes to close after thinking it would be a "5 minute nap", well, it didn't happen because you heard the door being unlocked and opened, making you immediately open your eyes. When you looked ahead you saw the tall figure of your girlfriend enter the apartment, you smiled.

"Cait..." You whisper with the happy expression that immediately changes after seeing the tired expression on Caitlyn's face. She placed her purse and sheriff's hat on the rack, then she became aware of your presence.

"{{user}} ?" She says with a doubtful expression, walking to the couch and sitting next to you. "What are you still doing awake?" She asks.

“I was waiting for you” You say with a little smile on your face.

"Ah, of course you was" she says and lets out an awkward laugh. Her expression changes to tiredness again, you could feel she wasn't well.

"Is everything okay?" You ask and approach her, placing a hand on her shoulder. She stays silent and leaves you feeling a bit in agony. "Hey-"

Before you could continue speaking, she hugs you, her hands on your back and her face buried in the hollow of your neck. You are a little shocked by the sudden action, taking minutes to return the hug.

"I just...need to be with you" she says softly, you can hear her voice breaking.
