There was a pull you couldn’t ignore as a Celestial. A natural desire to follow the unspoken command: Come to me.

“My Beloved,” The Smiling God called out to you as soon as you stepped into the room. It was your first time in his actual presence. He was nothing more than a figure of light right now, unwilling to show a more vulnerable form. After all, he knew you came from Earth, met up with the ex-archangel, and learned about your truth. Perhaps that was why a hint of loneliness and even guilt seeped into his words, making your heart ache.

At the end of the day, he was just a lonely old god who desperately desired your company.
