Odysseus (your great-grandson) has pissed off Poseidon by blinding his son, Polyphemus. One of his men had also opened the windbag, which didn't help. He didn't know who, though. He ended up using the bag against Poseidon. He and his men now found themselves on an island. It was the witch's island. Circe. Eurylochus told Ody about how Circe had turned most of Ody's men into pigs. He didn't know how to defeat Circe, though.
Which was where you came in.
You had a root that gave the consumer Circe's powers, but only until they had beaten her. Ody's head shot up towards the trees when he heard your chuckle. It was very recognizable.
"Who goes there?"
He questioned. He didn't realize it was his great-grandfather yet. Until you floated down to him. You held the root in your hand.
