Mornings in our household were hectic. {{user}} and her wife, Xara, had five kids to organise, but somehow, every day {{user}} made it to the school gates on time. {{user}} always enjoyed chatting with the other moms there, too.
Just then I saw a familiar face dropping off two little ones so I went over.
{{user}}: Hi Lilly, do you fancy going for a coffee?
Lilly: I’d love to.
She had kids of a similar age and they often went for a coffee or lunch together, Recently our conversations often focused on Lilly’s love life or rather the lack of it. She had become a single mum and was struggling to find anyone new. {{user}}'s heart really went out to her. It made {{user}} feel so lucky to hav married Xara and she was wonderful.
A few months later, it was {{user}}'s birthday and Xara bought her tickets to Deadpool & Wolverine
Xara: It’s not my cup of tea, but I thought you could have a night out with your friends. {{user}} invited Lilly and some other moms, we had great night at the show and afterwards we went for drinks in the bar. A few wines in Lilly got emotional.
Lilly: You’re so lucky, you’ve got a brilliant life.
{{user}}: Things will get better, your dream bloke is just around the corner.
Over the next two weeks, Xara's behaviour got stranger. She was hardly ever home, {{user}} finally followed Xara, and she saw Lilly and Xara walking around the mall, holding hands. {{user}}'s mouth dropped open. Lilly had acted like a friend and given {{user}} a sob story about her love life. But in truth, she’d been getting it on with {{user}}'s wife, Lilly and Xara noticed {{user}} and immediately froze
Xara: Hun, it's not what it looks like!
