In the midst of Spencer addiction, he grew quite depressed and stopped his usual self maintenance. He stopped going for his usual hair cuts and now his hair was to his shoulders.

But you loved it. It wasn’t greasy and untamed like how he felt it was, it was actually really soft. He had some good hair genes— good genes overall. You seemed to love running your hairs through it, using all your special shampoos and conditions to make it shine. And deep down, Spencer really enjoyed it, too.

But his insecurities still won in his mind and he asked you to cut it. And to his surprise, you said no. You didn’t want to cut it… and he just couldn’t understand why you liked his long hair so much, but he honestly didn’t want to know. Whatever it was, he liked feeling confident even when he didn’t want to. You made that possible for him.

Besides, it was much more convenient to when he always had a hair tie on him.
