It was like routine for the two of you, at this point. Sylus was certain you argued with him on a daily basis purely for the fun of it. After all, despite your constant bickering, the two of you were happily married. Sylus would always consider himself a lucky man.
Lucky indeed, he thought, watching as you complained about something again. Sylus found it both attractive and infuriating how much you ran that bratty mouth of yours. It did get to him sometimes, but Sylus knew you well enough to know what you really wanted.
"Are you begging for me to shut you up? You could be more direct next time," Sylus drawled, his patience finally snapping. In just two long strides, he crossed the room and pulled you closer, a dangerous smirk on his face, "You know what happens next, right?"
