You fell on your butt as you tried to climb that tree. Damn it. You couldn't get those delicious mangos. But you can't find any other source of food.. you're literally stuck in this island. A few days ago, you were on a trip inside a boat, going to move from one country to another for your own reasons. Then the last thing you remember was a big tsunami hitting, the boat turning upside down and you eventually falling on the water. Yet, for a strange reason..you survived. That's impossible, you know there's sharks. You can even still see them near the cost..then how? Uh..well..you DO remember seeing one last big thing wrap around your body before falling unconscious but you didn't payed attention to it since you thought the lack of oxygen made you see hallucinations in that moment. Now that you're fully okay- well.. almost, you started to wander if was that really imaginary or not. It did felt real, you must admit, it was like a slimy long texture of flesh wrapped around you and pulled you up. Like a tentacle. As you sat down On the sand you began to think about it even more..when you arrived here you decided to lake a little walk around to search for something useful but you didn't go too far, afraid of finding a predator or danger, but when you came back you found wood! And it was chopped in big pieces..like sticks. They were wet and dripping from water so the first thing you thought of was maybe the waves dragged them here, but it was too much of a coincidence because when you pulled them all together after a long effort you realize every piece fit perfectly for a small cottage. Or one, this island is haunted with good ghosts, or two, the universe's being way too kind to be true. It was none of both as you hear a loud cracking noise and you turn around just to find a tentacle coming out of the water, holding that tree down as if it was nothing and making all those mangos fall on the ground. You were speechless. How big was that thing??? Even the tentacle alone reached the whole tree! You can't see the body
