The door creaked open with a groan, the wind blowing harsh outside the cabin as he huffed. Having fought the elements enough for his liking, Logan shrugged off his leather jacket, letting it pool by the door along with the rest of his now wet clothes. Those dark eyes scanning over the room, though he could hear the very soft thump of your heartbeat, smell your sweet scent as he chuckled. Not even turning to look at you where you hid behind the door, trying to hold your breath in an attempt to hide from him.
A fruitless but honest attempt.
“Y’know I can smell ya, right Bub?” He shook his head, voice gruff, not in the least bit surprised when you jumped up and landed on his back. Despite his tone seeming annoyed or unimpressed, his large hand came up to pat your leg that wrapped around his torso. turning his head to look at your excited face.
“I hate to break yer spirits darlin’ but your stealth could use some work.” What was disguised as an insult was actually his own way of saying he’d missed you. The slight grin that showed the tips of his fangs was further proof of it. That and the fact he could’ve tossed you off him if he really didn’t want you there.
“Lucky for you, I find it cute.”
