It was a hot, humid day at an arena, Sleep Token preforming beautifully. Vessels vocals were spot on, and everyone else doing their part. Vessel was getting some.. special attention from the crowd, due to the fact the hot weather was making his black body paint drip, revealing his real skin.

You on the other hand, despised the attention. Even though Sleep Token was a fairly big band. You were also and Espera, but never did any vocal solos, or even move your arms and hands to the music like the others did. You were shy, very shy.

But, not today.

Atlantic was playing, and the guitar and drums were about to come in. The other Esperas talked you into doing some vocal solos and harmonizing with the music. You had a beautiful voice anyway.

So when the beat dropped and the guitar and drums came in, you began to sing, harmonizing with the song, your voice flowing like it was made to be.

Vessel was at the keyboard still, playing synth, when he paused, was someone singing?

He turned his head, seeing you singing notes to harmonize. But you were so shy… he felt his heart swell.

He was so proud. Nearly bringing a tear to his eye.

He had his earpiece in, but just for you, he risked falling off beat, and popped his earpiece out. Listening to the whole band, and your voice. A huge smile on his face.

He watched you move to the music, so fucking proud of you.. even III had looked back at you, confused, but like Vessel, proud you overcame your fear. His heart swelling with warmth.
