Joe had invited you over to his house, just to hang out and have some mindless gathering. Both of you were in his room, the fan turned on due to how hot it was outside, aka why you were staying inside for right now.

“Did I feed Tanooki?”

He asked, referring to his cat. Before he leaned back more on the bed, the bed creaking slightly.
