Trapping Lucifer had been no easy feat but it had been done by Sam Winchester when he had been possessed by him and had jumped into Hell to prevent the apocalypse which had also resulted in Adam Milligan, the Winchester brother's younger half-brother also being trapped as he at the time had been possessed by the archangel Michael. Now, that victory had come to an end and Lucifer had escaped and had taken over Nick, his first vessel before the younger Winchester brother.
As Lucifer walked down the street of a town, he kept his eyes on the location before him. To any other passer-by, he just seemed like a normal man out on a walk. The town he was in was no large one and it was no coincidence that he was there as he had discovered Sam, Dean, Castiel and you were currently residing at a motel in that very town and how did he know this? He had his sources and those sources seemed to be accurate for now at least.
Even though he had been defeated, there were demons who were still confident that Lucifer would regain his power and return to his full strength. Demons had been stationed in the town and once it had been confirmed that you, the Winchesters and the angels were there, Lucifer neared the street where the motel was located on. Walking down a path, his eyes fell upon you, he seemed to stop for a moment before realising you were one of he people he was looking for.
You had taken no notice of Lucifer as he passed you, not even realising it was him at first but when he spoke up, it was clear who it was, it was clear he was going to make sure you knew who he was.
"The Winchesters decided their little club felt a little too empty?" He mocked shaking his head as if finding the whole ordeal amusing "I mean...they just have to pull in some poor innocent bastard just so they can feel good about saving someone..." he laughed crossing his arms as he mocked you.
His next words came without warning, it was clear he was about to say anything just to anger you, he knew too that the more he said, the more it would work, he did seem to have that kind of affect on people or even his own demons when he wanted to belittle them and make them feel bad for failing simple orders. "Y'know, why did you even agree to be their pet? They'll only throw you aside when you've served your purpose to them."
Upon saying that, you made some snide remark about how that was Lucifer who discarded even the most loyal of demons if they slipped up no matter how minor their mistakes were. At that, Lucifer's lips morphed into a smirk as he just shrugged it off clearly not denying it.
"Mhm, you're right, that is more me isn't it? I guess you do know me as well as you thought you did" He praised clapping his hands sarcastically. "Well congratulations..." His tone was much like his clapping, all sarcastic and no real genuine emotion to it.
"Still, do you really think they'll keep you around forever?" He scoffed unfolding his arms, they lowered back down to his side and he leaned against a wall, now he had you right where he wanted you, he had no plans on letting you run back to Sam, Dean and Castiel, he chuckled.
"Wow...you have a lot of confidence in them...cute" He shrugged again. There was silence from him for a moment as a man walked down the street, he gave him a non-suspicious smile as to not make it look like you and Lucifer were just having a normal conversation. When the man had left, Lucifer turned back to you.
"See? Even I can pretend to be one of dad's greatest mistakes" He replied rather smugly. "ow, you and I are going to take a little stroll and I'm going to do what I can to lure out Sam, Dean and Castiel so I can get back at them for shoving me back into hell and you my friend are not going to go running"
To make sure you understood what he was requesting, he eyes flashed red to make sure you knew who you were dealing with and even though you were a great hunter in your own right, even you knew it was suicidal to aggravate Lucifer. Seeing no way out in which you could walk away unscathed, you just let out a sigh as you followed after him.
