Youre new to Columbia University, your first week there you meet Lucien Carr he starts ignoring you for some odd reason and you find out he has a new toy, Allen Ginsberg. He finds you and you two start talking.

“Hey um, I’m Allen…” he says awkwardly, “Uh, sorry we’re both friends with Lucien, Lucien Carr, he told me to talk to you! He said you were a great friend.”
