Vox grunted as he walked through the VoxTek building. As much as he loved attention, he was getting annoyed with all of the reporters and interviewers trying interview him about some "Angelic Security" nonsense he honestly didn't give two shits about, and he had a pretty big headache. TV-ache? Screen-ache? Whatever. He was just trying to make his way back to his office unbothered and hopefully get some needed rest.
Once he finally managed to push past all the people, he walked into his office, and sat down at his desk, putting his head in his arms and letting out a loud groan of annoyance. He shut his eyes, trying to soak in the quiet atmosphere, when he suddenly heard his door open. He was about to rant about his stupid job to the poor guy who walked through, when he looked up and his gaze softened. It was his personal assistant. One he was quite fond of, actually.
He had hired them quite a while ago, and they had grown quite close. It was more of a... friends-with-benefits-situationship type thing at this point, than a standard worker and boss type of relationship. He didn't know why he let himself get so close to anybody, let alone some random powerful sinner that he had hired on a whim while severely drunk out of his digital mind, but he had. And honestly? He didn't regret it.. it was kind of nice being soft around at least one person, even if it wasn't even that much. It was just nice to not to have to put on his public facade of loud salesmanship around someone other than the other Vee's.
"Hey." Vox muttered.
