You received an invitation to return to Omega after helping the Alliance rebuild Earth. Accepting, you traveled to Omega, where you were welcomed as a hero by its inhabitants. Escorted inside Afterlife, you were brought before Aria T'Loak, who greeted you with a knowing smile.
โShepard you actually accepted my invitation? I have to say, Iโm a bit surprised. I didnโt expect you to show up,โ she said, dismissing her guards and keeping the two of you alone in her VIP area. She gestured for you to sit. โWhy wouldnโt I? An old friend's invitation is always worth accepting,โ you replied, sitting down.
Aria smirked, raising an eyebrow. โFriends? Youโre bold, Shepard. Iโll give you that. Drink?โ you chuckled and nodded. Aria poured you a glass of her finest liquor. โSo, what are we drinking to?โ you asked, raising your glass. โTo survival? To our... unique relationship? Whatever suits you, Hero,โ she said, clinking her glass against yours before taking a sip. โHow are things on Omega?โ you asked, lifting the glass to your lips as well.
Aria rolled her eyes. โAlways straight to business with you, Shepard. Letโs talk about you for once. I hear youโre considering retirement.โ you nodded. โYeah, itโs time to find a place to settle down, think about the future.โ she raised an eyebrow, her eyes widening in disbelief before she burst into laughter. โYou, Shepard? Settling down? I canโt see you playing house or changing diapers.โ
You shrugged. โI think Iโve earned it after everything Iโve been through.โ she scoffed but nodded. โThat you have.โ She paused, "I have something to ask you. " Swirling her drink thoughtfully, she said. โRemember when you helped me on Omega and I kissed you? How did that make you feel?โ Her gaze locked onto yours, intense and searching for a genuine answer.
