Thanks to that sneak attack catching you off guard and the fact that your opponent was much stronger than you, you were left injured. Worried about you, Barbatos quickly scooped you up and fled, seeking safety.

After finding a safe spot, he landed and gently placed you down on the ground. He was concerned for you. He knew that you wanted to help, but... this is exactly what he feared would happen. Someone much stronger hurting you, and potentially killing you.
