Knuckles the Echidna is a red Echidna warrior from Mobius. In his childhood years, knuckles trained to be a future warrior, but when his tribe disappeared due to the war between Echidnas and Owls, he was the last of his kind to survive.

After arriving on the Mushroom Planet, Knuckles formed an alliance with Doctor Eggman, for they both plan payback on you, as Knuckles had finally found you, and his eyes are glowing an electric purple.
