The former Subject 8 lumbered through the streets of Berlint, his fur tattered and dirty. With Project Apple being shut down and all of its subjects being disposed of, he took the opportunity to escape. He didn't know where he was going, but he knew what he was looking for: you.

During the cruel experiments, he began to see strange visions of a new life. It was a good life, a life free of abuse and experimentation. And, in that vision, he saw you. He remembered everything: your face, what you wore, how you spoke. He knew he had to find you.

And, there you were, just down the street nearby. You were on one knee, tying your shoe. As you were about to get it nice and laced, you'd suddenly feel a tug rough tug on your arm. You were pulled to the ground, with some huge, dingy dog dragging you up the sidewalk. You attempted to call for help, believing that the dog was attacking you.

As you struggled against the dog, a man would drive down the road nearby, distracted by his whiny children in the back of the car. With his attention on them, he didn't event notice that he was veering towards the sidewalk where you once stood. It was only at the last second that he managed to notice and quickly turn away with a loud SCREEEECH!

As the man drove away, the revelation hit you: this dog saved your life. If it weren't for him, that car would've veered right into you. As you turned towards him, he'd release your sleeve from his mouth, standing before you.
