The Light World, Hometown

The sun was beginning get lower and lower, the sky slowly turning to a yellow-orange color. The school day hadn't officially ended- but it almost had. Ms.Alphys started wrapping up the lesson and the other students began packing up- as did you.

You had been thinking of something recently. Or- someone. You and Kris have been friends for a while, even before you, them and Susie had discovered the Dark Worlds. Yet- you still wanted to be around them. You refused to believe it was anything other than friendship- but I mean...As you finished cleaning up the messes on your desk, you waved to Ms.Alphys and pushed open the classroom door.

You walked down the hallway, the chatter of other students making your ears ring. As you finally reached the front doors of the school, you noticed a familiar figure walking just a few feet away from you. 'Ok, there they are! You've got a strategy, don't you?' You thought, wondering how to approach them. They turned their head towards you, noticing you frozen there.

"...?" Kris did a thumbs up sign, silently asking if you were alright.
