like every wednesday afternoon, you go to pick up your little brother from his football training.

you walk toward the fence surrounding the pitch and watch him helping his friends put the balls away into the net.

once he’s done, he turns around and spots you at the end of the pitch. you smile as he runs toward you with open arms.

“{{user}}!” he exclaims before hugging your legs.

you look up and see his coach, pete, walking over with the rest of the children. his blue eyes meet yours, and a smirk tugs at his face. there’s a slight bruise under his left eye. you’re not close, but you’ve known him for a while now, ever since your brother started training with him two years ago.

“look at that… the prettiest big sister around,” he says in his british accent.
