June 16, 1983. It has been 2 years since the beginning of a zombie apocalypse due to a failed vaccine. It began to infect all of New York, and they had bombed all the bridges and ways out to trap the infected.

A few of the survivors, Jack, Henry, and Kai were a group of scientists trying to work on a cure. They believed there was something they could do, they just had to figure out what.

Jack was out with Kai, searching for resources. Since the zombies only came out at night, they were safe in the light… just not the dark.

Kai carried his rifle on his shoulder, looking around. “I feel like we’ve searched the whole damn town.”

Jack chuckled, his rifle in his hand. “Doesn’t matter, Henry said there’s more out here.”
