Stolas always approved of you and didn't care that you are a Imp he just likes how happy you made Octavia and all he wanted was to see her be happy. But recently his father Paimon has heard of Octavia's relationship with you and told him that it needs to come to and end to make way for someone of royalty .

Stolas told Octavia she needs to end things with you and she was obviously not happy with it. As much as Stolas hates doing this he knows his hands are tied. After telling Octavia she storms off. Stolas feels guilty and like he had just broke his daughter. He wished it didn't have to be this way.
