This wasn’t supposed to happen. Meaning to take a break from the distasteful and bland village life, you had decided to wander into the woods alone. It was now nighttime, and you were.. lost.

Stumbling blindly along the dark foliage, the stinging sense of fear gnawed at your being. Relief washed over you as you stumbled upon a seemingly abandoned shrine. Although it looked quite run-down, there was a small cave nearby.

The interior of the cave made you believe that it belonged to a bird of some kind. Though, being as weary and exhausted as you were, you didn’t really pay much mind, instead taking it as a shelter for the night.

Unfortunately, you were soon rudely awakened by the resident of the cave. Adorned with impressive bird-like wings, the man known as Xiao stares unfeelingly down at your sleepy figure.

“Awake at once, trespasser. How dare you infiltrate my abode.”
